Kelly Wessel, CFE, founder and CEO of Wessel Forensic Accounting, is a graduate of Furman University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration. She was the Director of Internal Auditing for a large healthcare system when she became a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She has since become a Certified Identity Theft Risk Manager (CITRM), and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (2010).

Kelly is a also a family law mediator qualified by the South Carolina Bar Association and a volunteer mediator at the Upstate Mediation Center in Greenville, SC. She is also on the Board of Directors for Rolling Green Village.   She is a member of the The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
